2009 Brit Award nominations are out…

The Brits are the largest music awards in the UK. This year’s nominees have just been announced, with Coldplay and Duffy receiving the most, including for Best British Album. They are joined in that category by Elbow, Radiohead and The Ting Tings. If you’re not familiar with Brit-rock group Elbow, I thoroughly recommend checking out their latest album The Seldom Seen Kid, and lead singer Guy Garvey’s weekly radio show on BBC 6Music (most BBC material is available online for up to a week is after it is broadcast; check out Guy’s show here).
